Founder's Vision

As we embark on this endeavor, we have set class sizes limited to10 students per teacher and will be mixed grades. Our goal is to grow to have classes organized by individual strengths and academic goals - not necessarily grade level. This smaller class ratio allows teachers to provide individualized lesson support, redirection and focus cues, as well as the use of executive functioning tools to support success.
For this year, since we are just kicking off, we hope to be able to partner with an occupational therapist to provide optional OT support -1:1 sessions as well as providing guidance on techniques that teachers will fold into the learning plan for each student.
Beyond this therapy option, we will incorporate fun, social activities throughout the week that will aim to support fine motor and handwriting skills, balance/coordination, gross motor, motor planning, and communication skills.
Our long term goal is to ultimately grow to include OT, PT, and Speech Therapy to the school curriculum. Both pushing into class time to support fine motor or communication skills individually, as well as hold weekly group programs that promote social skills that are engaging. Our ultimate goal is to add a full time counselor to lead social emotional learning groups, hold weekly individual sessions, and round out our unique school curriculum scaffold.
We are hoping to connect with like minded families to establish this unique setting and build together!
